It was in 2008 in the Museum of Applied Arts when and where Gábor Szilasi first introduced the light-body catamarans earning him the designing scholarship named after László Moholy-Nagy. With this yacht suited for two people Szilasi has gone as far as the limits that can be reached by design today, especially in products for sports and by the usage of materials in formal minimalism. Its modelling is a total break from the traditional boatlike design, and his method was reduced to logics, ergonomy, hyrodynamics and the physical laws of wind. This boat weighs 30 kg only, and can be taken apart to tiny bits, allowing for easy storing and transport even with a passenger car. It can glide on water on two mountings as its design guarantees dynamism and speed for the body whilst its symmetrical structure makes controlling and manoeuvring easier even at a high speed.
