Lucas van Valckenborch <em>Mathias herceg, mint Scipio<\/em> (1580) vagy Jan de Baen <em>III Or\u00e1niai Vilmos, mint r\u00f3mai nemes<\/em> (1667) \u2013 antik hadvez\u00e9rek gy\u0151zelmi v\u00e9rtezet\u00e9ben, d\u00edszfegyvereivel, szinte a mai m\u00e9diaszt\u00e1rok ruham\u00e1rk\u00e1inak k\u00fcls\u0151dleges eszk\u00f6zeivel hiteles\u00edtett\u00e9k az \u00e1br\u00e1zolt figura mor\u00e1lis legitimit\u00e1s\u00e1t. A p\u00e9nz\u00e9rm\u00e9ken a barokk cs\u00e1sz\u00e1rt (pl. I. J\u00f3zsefet) bab\u00e9rkoszor\u00fa \u00f6vezte, a <em>II. Ferdin\u00e1nd cs\u00e1sz\u00e1rr\u00e1 \u00e9s magyar kir\u00e1lly\u00e1 koron\u00e1z\u00e1si alleg\u00f3ri\u00e1ja<\/em> (1618-19) II. Ambrosius Franckent, Eggenberg herceg\u00e9t, Jupiter el\u0151tt h\u00f3dolva t\u00e9rdepl\u0151 r\u00f3mai vez\u00e9rk\u00e9nt \u00e1br\u00e1zolja \u2013 biztos\u00edtva a k\u00e9p n\u00e9z\u0151j\u00e9t a rekatoliz\u00e1ci\u00f3 \u00fcdve fel\u0151l. \u00c9s a ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1son bemutatott nagysz\u00e1m\u00fa r\u00e9zkarc nyomat az olajk\u00e9pek port\u00e1bilis v\u00e1ltozatak\u00e9nt \u2013 a modern m\u00e9dia funkci\u00f3ihoz hasonl\u00f3an \u2013 sokfel\u00e9 eljutott. Ezek a lapok \u00e9s k\u00f6nyvillusztr\u00e1ci\u00f3k azonban nem a dr\u00e1mai m\u00f3don megfestett f\u00e9ny, hanem a prec\u00edzen metszett architekt\u00fara aur\u00e1j\u00e1val, szinte sz\u00ednh\u00e1zi d\u00edszletk\u00e9nt emelt\u00e9k ki allegorikus mondanival\u00f3jukat. \u00c9s ez az architekt\u00fara nem teljesen a fant\u00e1zia sz\u00fcl\u00f6tte, hanem a r\u00f3mai f\u00f3rumon megindult \u00e1sat\u00e1sok h\u00edrn\u00f6ke, amit szinte a mai \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9szeti foly\u00f3iratok hat\u00e9konys\u00e1g\u00e1hoz hasonl\u00edthatunk. K\u00e9tf\u00e9le minta is akad, az egyik v\u00e1rosi t\u00e1jk\u00e9p, (pl. Viviano Codazzi <em>R\u00f3ma l\u00e1tk\u00e9pe a Konstantin diadal\u00edvvel \u00e9s a Colosseummal<\/em> c. v\u00e1szna (1660 k.), a m\u00e1sik \u201el\u00e1tv\u00e1nyterv\u201d (pl.
