From the ten-storey prefab houses one can have a full view of the single-storey U-shaped building of the surgery building. In 2007 the local authority decided it was time to have it reconstructed and updated. Launched as a reconstruction, the project evolved into a complete remodelling. Preserved as a surgery for children and adults, it has been enriched with a number of new functions and thus now houses the all-night surgery for children and adults, an infectious ward, a district nurses\u2019 surgery as well as the pharmacy previously attached to the structure. The new design made the best use of this free-standing development: the three main components \u2013 two surgeries and a pharmacy \u2013 open from the primary direction of access from R\u00e9v\u00e9sz Street, but also the new functions have now entrances of their own on the lateral facades. The waiting rooms have been moved into the centre, and even though they receive enough light through the skylights, their space tends to widen out here and there toward the cortiles revealing green areas if we look in their directions.<\/p>\n
