It was launched by the US governmental office of energetics in 2002. They primarily focussed on detached family houses, and the programme was also a message to would-be users as well as to designing architects. The contest addressed teams of various universities from the very beginning, in which educators and a team of supporters and sponsors teamed up for a contest cooperated to design and construct the prototypal building. This article is a report of the Solar Decathlon Europe contest held in Hungary in 2019 written by one of the participants of the event.<\/p>\n<p><!-- default-view.php
