One of the most innovative building materials is the CLT (cross laminated timber) panel, which was developed in the early 1990s in Austria. In the past few years several highrises have been built from timber, of which the tallest is Mj\u00f8st\u00e5rnet tower in Brumunddal, Norway with a height of 84,5 metres, This height will be approached by the new Hoho Tower in Vienna, which is planned to be 84 metres tall.
