Edited by J\u00e1nos Gerle and published by Holnap Publishing House, the new volume of the series entitled The Masters of Architecture is a large-scale venture. Pollack is the first master in chronology and his veneration is just about to take shape \u2013 even though very slowly \u2013 in the memory of posterity. As a master he was highly influential and affected Hungarian architecture when it was on the rise at the end of the 19th century. Mikl\u00f3s Ybl was an architect maturing in Pollack\u2019s studio. Pollack had been the master of some of the most significant works of Hungarian Classicism such as the Festetich Castle in D\u00e9g and Alm\u00e1sy Palace in Pest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
