Having established his philosophical-visionary engraving universe filtered with social criticism in the 1970s and 80s in the circles of Soviet paper architects strongly opposing the official Soviet architecture then, Alexander Brodsky turned to the expressive forms of installations and in about 2000 he also designed his very first genuine \u2013 constructable and useable \u2013 buildings. He never stuck to the level of topicalities and has been looking for the resultants in every issue as well as for causes and reasons in mysterious spheres which seem to be uncertain for the common sense. This is emphasized by his installation exhibited in the centre of his exhibition in Architekturzentrum Wien. This peculiar darkroom makes us think over traditions concerning the interpretation of time and space whilst also tackling issues of ethics associated with them.<\/p>\n
