However, its reconstruction takes longer as it is delayed by embarrassing complications. The necessity of this project had already been phrased in the 1980s. Designs were made by several well-known architects from Miskolc (Csaba Bodony, Attila Pirity and J\u00f3zsef Viszlai), but never realized until the proprietary rights of the Music Palace devolved on the University of Miskolc as a result of an exchange of real estates. Built in the historic city centre in the neighbourhood of administrative buildings, the Music Palace represents the University within the city. Its long-awaited reconstruction project was managed by M\u0171\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9sz Iroda and Hadas M\u0171terem headed by P\u00e9ter Pusk\u00e1s and Mih\u00e1lyRudolf respectively.
