Well-House Conversion Project, G\u00f6d\u00f6ll\u0151<\/strong><\/p>\n

Standing at the junction of Egyetem square and Premontrei street, the well-house of G\u00f6d\u00f6ll\u0151 was built in the first half of the 1950s after plans by Gyula Riman\u00f3czy. It was now given a new function by the Gubah\u00e1mori community. Seemingly simple, the exterior of the former industrial building shows the passage of time whilst also moving with it: once again it radiates its former glory and elegance. The team of architects approaching current architectural projects with a fresh vision of space and landscape use has in this case also considered the actual unique space thinking of how people will use the space in reality. With the new-wave style caf\u00e9, a sophisticated and generous creation work of architecture was created, based on architectural memory and designed for everyday functions, which expands and moves the culinary services of the G\u00f6d\u00f6ll\u0151 Campus to the next level.
\nWater supply for the university district, which was built in the first half of the 1950s, was provided by three polygonal well-houses and a modern water-tower designed by Gy\u00f6rgy J\u00e1nossy. The building, which has since lost its function meanwhile, is in a state of almost complete deterioration. Two years ago, a local company came up with the idea of rebuilding it, and nine months later, the well-house (K\u00fath\u00e1z) new wave style coffee brewery and manufactory took possession of the tiny 30 m\u00b2 building. The building with a tiled hipped-roof has two entrances, one leading to the terrace under a canopy of trees, while also providing easy access to the interior. Every square inch of the tiny interior has been thoughtfully designed with attention to detail.<\/p>\n
