The opening event was a conference held in K\u00f3s K\u00e1roly Hall, which was also the one opening M\u00c9SZ Architects 7 programmes. In 1998 the International Union of Architects (UIA) declared the first Monday of October as World Architects&#8217; Day to raise public awareness of the role of architecture in shaping the human environment.
