The Hungarian Academy of Science (MTA) established Regional Academic Committees in Debrecen, Miskolc, P\u00e9cs, Szeged and Veszpr\u00e9m, and then expanded them to include Cluj-Napoca. Shortly after its creation, in 2012, the working committee organised an international conference, and every year in July, in association with the Valley of Arts (M\u0171v\u00e9szetek v\u00f6lgye) programme, it organises a meeting in Tali\u00e1nd\u00f6r\u00f6gd. Its second major conference was held in the summer of 2023, in partnership with the Symmetry Foundation. The Hungarian Academy of Arts&#8217; Research Institute for Art Theory and Methodology (MMA MMKI) joined the organisation, one of the first events organised jointly by the two academies.
