The Architects of the Szeged Space and Form have been making plans and designs for H\u00f3dmez\u0151v\u00e1s\u00e1rhely for over twenty years now and thus know and feel the town quite well. Their concept design for the revitalization of the environment of the Tornyai Museum has been on blueprint for years. Meanwhile resources made available via two subsequent EU tenders made it possible to realize it. In the first phase they designed the new entrance building next to the brick-faced main building of the museum, whilst in the second one the store rooms on the corner of the block and the museum garden so as to almost double the area of the museum before the conversion. The program and the necessary store dimensions were calculated in cooperation with the staff of the museum. The three-storey ferroconcrete \u201etube\u201d in the basement houses a store of spectacles in individual store units, the ground-floor embraces a foyer and a library, whilst the upper floor is an undivided exhibition space. The facades of the new structures reveal textures imitating earth and clay: they rate as unique works of applied arts by N\u00e1ndor V. Nagy restorer who made them by mixing facework finishes familiar from the building industry in cooperation with architects.<\/p>\n
