The LAKATLAN BUDAPEST FESTIVAL (Vacant Budapest Festival) is a cooperation between the K\u00c9K Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre, Wonderland \u2013 Platform for European Architecture and the Vacant Central Europe project. The festival\u2019s goal is to summarize current research on mapping and reusing vacant properties and to explore new methods and solutions. It includes an architecture workshop, the Vacant Central Europe cooperation workshop and international exchange on in-between use, as well as urban walks and architectural visits. The event helps visitors contextualize the debate with the help of an information hub, pop-up library and exhibition.<\/p>\n

\nThe BUPAP walks to visit buildings of interest in the city has recently developed a new feature by providing tours of spaces that are waiting for transformation. Their fate is mapped in downtown recent past and present. (The tour will be in English. Registration is needed, application available soon!)
