The three buildings described here do not only share the same function and have come into existence among similar conditions, but have also been created by the same people, Péter Kovács and István Lengyel whose works are unmistakable even though their concepts may differ now and then. Studying the architecture of this tandem of architects one can see there is a congruous attitude of modelling and practising the profession that manifests itself. It is striking at first sight that large-span structures bridging over spaces have come to be first-rate aesthetic factors defining architectural space in their oeuvre. The architects have basically tried out whatever could be achieved by applying their favourite structures becoming their trademark by now, namely steel strutted roofs combined with glued wooden girders. Swimming pools in Mátészalka, Gönc and Ózd are results of their co-operation.
