Veresegyház has become one of the most dynamically developing settlements in Hungary, mainly due to its forward-thinking and consistent city management. It is no coincidence that, over the last twenty years, it has tripled its population and, as it has kept pace, increased and expanded its social, cultural and institutional background, and sport is playing an increasingly important role in this. In 2017, the local government of the city and the Veresegyháza City Sports Circle, which has been operating since 1928, decided to build a handball workshop. The plans came to fruition two years later. The sports hall in the central part of the city gives the feeling of an exciting, well-defined building to the outside, also showing its appealing character. It functions as a cohesive mass that radiates openness despite its closedness. The distribution and alternation of curved elements and straight-eyed windows show a calm rhythm and ratio system.
