The design, which was awarded the Diploma Prize 2022, meant to find an answer to the question which environmental characteristics are best suited to children with autism. What kind of architecture suites people with neuro-typicality different from the average who have difficulties in social interactions? How can architecture help them? What are the specific architectural and spatial needs of people with autism, their parents who take care of and their professional carers? The setting is an abandoned church tower in Budapest. The designer followed the principles of Design for All, trying to conceive the building to be suited for as many people as possible and to serve their needs.
