Balokány is a grove in downtown Pécs, the most extensive unbroken green zone of the city, which contains the artificial lake and the baths complex which has been out of use for several decades. The primary goal of the concept to revive the baths located in Balokány grove was a contemporary interpretation as well as a proposal to cover the architectural rendering of the area. In its original form, the baths was a complex containing three main buildings with two outdoor pools. The concept proposed contemporary architectural features for the characteristic tribune or grand stand style building, as well as to complement it so as to have a recreational facility, which has a compact response to its past and present-day context.
