The Truthful School
II. Rákóczi Ferenc Elementary and Secondary School, Hajdúsámson

This building is home to II. Rákóczi Ferenc Primary and Secondary School, Grammar-School, Vocational School and Primary Art School constructed without state sponsoring. The circumstances of its construction were defined by the confines of the axe shaped site and the expectations that the middle-school should provide the settlement ranked as a town in 2004 a large-capacity communal space that could be used by anyone, as well as to join the other, already existing public buildings of Hajdúsámson with its exterior design of brick architecture.
This house is true to itself in all its constituents, without any superfluous props. It is elaborated and sparingly high-standard, representative in a smart way. It is transparent and permeable. It has spaces that are interconnected, whilst it corresponds with independent meanings and functions as well. Its symbolic layers conceal the potentials that it conveys an identity for its users, organises cultural life as the venue of significant events, to serve as scale and model for the would-be buildings of the town.
