The area known as the Cholnoky Jenő Children and Youth Harbour in Révfülöp has been under the management of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium Talent Foundation for only a few years, but since then it has been under continuous development. A boat repair workshop and the Scruton community space have been created in the waterfront building, and the restaurant has been expanded to include an outdoor summer kitchen. The mature trees behind the building are now flanked by puritan residential units, which are used as student accommodation during the school year. Here, the Teachers and Lecturers Pavilion, designed by Páricsy and Partners, was built. The structure is made of rib-reinforced CLT system, a prefabricated, part-identifiable by QR code, crane-ready, fast and environmentally friendly modular construction method. An exciting solution is the partial inversion of the building’s timber modules and their use as built-in wardrobes, which gives a unique rhythm to the interior space built of flat surfaces. The building is equipped with underfloor heating and a ventilation system for heating/cooling, and the automated measurement of the temperature of the glass surfaces of the façade, which plays an influential role in the internal thermal management.
