An important segment of fine dining is composition, the combination of high-tech with traditional technologies, a variety of procedures, the amalgamation and blending of materials and experiments, involving methods or fields of science typically rather distant from each other. The same holds true for contemporary „avantgarde” architecture as well. Textúra (Texture) features interior designs and installations the designers of which have exploited this correlation. The strict appearance of the building is counterbalanced by the main attraction of its interior architecture which is visible from the outside: a huge Voronoi-structure has been placed in the service area painted dark. The same structure is found everywhere in the restaurant in the forms of green walls, wainscoting, sculpturesque spatial dividers, or mirrors. Within the space of Textúra a high-tech organic form appears which is a genious translation of mathematical correlations manifested in nature, the most prominent component of which is not a plastic cast, but is made of pinewood with beech joints.
