Originally, there had been a house with a modest size floor area which has proven to be unsuitable for extension according to current regulations, and was thus demolished. This loveable „cottage”, however, did not disappear without remains; the idea of passing on its building materials – though not primarily because of cost-efficiency reasons – had already been seen in the first ideas of the clients. Fulfillment of the requirements of construction parametres and the design scheme brought about the most optimized utilization of the site. This is how the pie-like cube form was formed defined by construction regulations which was then spiced up with the gable roof with a backbone parallel with the streetline derived from the archetypal mass as well as with the pierced projecting roof that joins the building from the direction of the garden like a blade rich in contemporary solutions.
