Community Building Pasarét

Built between 2020 and 2021, the Community Building in Pasarét is spiritually based on some sentences of Gaudium et Spes, whilst its physical foundations are the renovation, remodelling, functional revision and „outreach” of the Franciscan monastery. The former monastery had actually too many functions, which jeopardized high standards and also outgrow the framework of the building. The new oratory, more precisely, the community house was designed financially in the spirit of sustainability. The spaces and rooms of the community house in Pasarét are in harmony with the spiritaulity of the Franciscan congregation, or more precisely, can be rented for events in line with its spirit. The builder, the Patrona Hungariae Franciscan order defined its goal to revive club life and provide cultural programs for its wider community and neighbourhood, and also to help those in need. It is a genuinely multifunctional centre in which a chapel is also furnished.
