On the 75th Birthday of György Csete

The article celebrates György Csete Kossuth-rized architect on his 75th birthday. He is one of the pioneers the movement of the Hungarian organic architecture who headed the young architects’ team named Csoport in the 1970’s and continued the heritage of Ödön Lechner and Károly Kós. He is the follower of the traditions of Hungarian vernacular architecture and a pioneering figure of the Hungarian organic architectural movement. His Forrásház (Spring House) built between 1970 and 1974 in Orfű is one of the earliest examples of organic architecture and was rated as an historical monument to be protected in 2002.
