The elongated house is finely nested in the hillside. The laden stone wall appears as the continuation of medieval walls, whilst the thick stone lane of the cornice line acts an emphasized borderline sort of
finishing the past, whereas the lanes of the stone slabs of the shell structure is a continuation of it.

The large-scale public domain development in Dabas was completed last year. Several public buildings eceived a facelift, new public domains were created, a liveable inner town was born. In December the new market hall opened its gates as a component of the finishing phase of the project.
Europe in 2012 watches Maribor in Slovenia: this town has been selected as the European Cultural Capital along with the Portuguese Guimaraes. This was the first location in the area of the former Yugoslavia which has received this title and for this reason it is surrounded with great expectations.
At the end of 2010 the local government published a tender for the remodelling of the amphitheatre, the old pen-air theatre stage evoking ancient Geek ones and its surroundings as a new cultural centre. The winning project suggested a function to enrich the town with an emblematic building of high architectural prestige that can be used both in summer and winter for the year of the European Cultural Capital and later on.
Built on the shore of the Inner Lake in Tihany, the Lavender House possessed by the Balaton National Park was designed by József Koller. Constructed on the eastern neglected side of a lot formerly possessed by the local government, the structure is partly hidden underground, and nestles into its environment harmoniously.
