Budapest100
6-7 April 2013
Budapest100 was launched by Open Society Archives and KÉK Contemporary Architecture Centre to celebrate 100-year-old buildings in Budapest together with volunteers, locals and residents. The open house weekend gives you the chance to visit not only well-maintained or historic buildings. The program aims at presenting Budapest now and then, often including run-down houses that have been divided into unrecognizable smaller sections. Budapest100 initiates joint thinking about renewal and encourages the creation of coherent residential communities.
Budapest100, the festival of one-hundred-year-old buildings, will be held on 6th and 7th April, 2013. This year 50 residential buildings and institutions will open up to the public on the weekend closest to the 100th day of the year.
Explore and celebrate with us the open one-hundred year old buildings!
