Meggyesi Tamás: Echoes of Silence
Text: Péter Szaló dr.
Professor architect Tamás Meggyesi is interested in fields reaching far beyond architecture or 20th-century urbanistic thinking as he has been involved in philosophy and research into symbols for a long time now. His new volume contains 13 studies on philosophical topics that reach into the depths of human existence. Sources of these studies are the lectures and discussions held at the meetings held at Advaita Friends Club in the open educational institution named Practical Philosophical School and St Catherine’s Catholic parish church in Tabán. It reflects a dual worldview combining the Vedic traditions interpreted by the Advaita as well as the simultaneous presence of Christian traditions not only in the topics dealt with but also in the approach of the lectures held there.
