Forming an Image about the Architecture of Communities
Text: Krisztina Somogyi
Architectural photography has a serious function: it has to draw attention to architectural quality, and present the qualities of architecture as well as the intentions of its makers. In everyday life we are hardly ever aware of the environment because of its ambient nature. It is more typical that it exists as a medium invisible for human beings. The question then is what kind of architectural photo has the potentials to draw and keep observers’ attentions for as long as it is needed? The study below surveys this issue.
