The Edited Version of a Comment Contributing to a Conference

Interior architects tend to live continuously in the changes their profession’s identity is undergoing, as needs and requirements have changed quickly and many times. Besides, our competence goes beyond architectural interiors. We are justified to talk about the fact that the expression interior architecture does not exactly cover the actual sphere and domain of our profession. Far from being so. The fourth industrial revolution was officially launched in 2012, which creates a brand new situation: the same happens in the genres of architecture as well. This will presumably bring about extraordinarily significant changes. Let’s first look at why this industrial revolution is outstandingly important, if compared to the previous ones, and then we hall survey some new situations which make it worth re-interpreting our professional competencies.
