The 26th national annual conference of the Hungarian Urbanistics Society was held online in the middle of November. The first two days were opened with lectures on the current pandemic situation, firstly by Roger Keil, professor of the Toronto York University, who is specialized in the research work of impacts of the pandemic on cities. Then chief architect of Budapest, Zoltán Erő delivered his talk about how limiting regulations are introduced in a city. Lecturers of the second day surveyed the influence of the pandemic on national economies, as well as the development projects the government is planning to realize. Lectures by the audience and students were integrated in the programme of several sections too. The topics of the last day covered issues of regions in the countryside too.
