The evolution of a space is happens in the simplest way possible when two roads meet. This situation, however, may change in several ways later on. The topic of this article is to present three different spaces where two roads met and separated from each other. The junction bears signs of two different goals derived from the roads, and its character is also defined by this ambiguity. This is the source of inspiration and excitement so specific of this type of space. The joint section results from the amalgamation of the features of the two roads, and either preserves the ambiguity or transforms into a space to create a third quality. The main objective of this article is to present the potentials of this primary case via three examples found in Hungary.
