Text: Eszter Götz
When the curator of the 17th Venice International Architecture Biennale, scheduled for 2020, Hashim Sarkis announced his program and gave the slogan, “How will we live together?”, no one yet knew what would break out into the world in a few months. The pandemic not only postponed the opening of the Biennale to the following year, not only postponed events, but also changed the lives of the inhabitants of the Earth, interfering quickly in the processes on a daily basis. In the previous issues of this magazin, we have already reported on the Hungarian and international exhibitions of this year’s Venice Biennale. In the following review, we recommend to the reader some of the works, plans and thoughts presented at this year’s Biennale that will lead to a livable future.
