The plot of the hemp house in Szentendre and the designers have found each other an established a fine partnership. Despite its advantageous location south of the Bükkös Creek and east of the main road, this site has not yet been discovered by developers. It is a small residual plot, with an awkward L-shape, and with the stems leaning deeply behind the neighbour. The designers here have built for themselves, which is a kind of freedom that placed the house at the intersection of the L-shape, redefining the small garden as well. This degree of freedom also allowed the single ground-floor space to stretch out onto the contours of the small footprint house, and this is the reason for the experimental use of hempcrete blocks. The hemp wall is well sealed everywhere and, after the tadelakt and stucco veneziano, a new internal coating system was created. The furniture was designed and built by the members of the family themselves, as was the floating concrete fence wall. Much in the same way as in the old village.
