The award ceremony of prizes of architecture awarded by the Hungarian state was held on March 15th, 2017. János Lázár, the head of the prime minister’s office handed over the prizes in Várkert Bazaar. Ybl Prize, the most prestigious official recognition for the activities in architecture went to architects Tibor Bata, Nóra Demeter, Csaba Kovács, Csaba Varga and Mrs. Vonák, Márta Csaba and Mrs. Vonák, The civil degree of the Hungarian Golden Medal of Awards was awarded to architect Lajos Kiss. Forster Gyula Prize went to architect Mrs. Czeglédy, Henriette Levárdy, specialized in the protection of historic buildings, and dr. Éva Szikra, landscape architect, specialist of the protection of historic buildings. A certificate of recognition of the minister was awarded to József Kolossa DLA, Béla Zsolt Sisa and Gergely Tarnai.
