In 1998, the International Union of Architects (UIA) declared the first Monday in October as World Architects’ Day to raise awareness of the role of architecture in shaping the human environment. This year, on 2 October, following a long-standing tradition, the Association of Hungarian Architects celebrated for architecture with an all-day event. In the afternoon, this year’s Diploma Awards and the Hungarian Architecture Medal were presented.
