UIA World Congress, Copenhagen, 2023

The International Association of Architects, UIA, organizes its renewal general assembly every three years, where members and interested parties gather from all over the world to discuss the most current architectural topics. This issue in 2023 was sustainability, which was interpreted very broadly at the conference and exhibition held in Copenhagen from July 3-6. The outstanding success of the operation of the Association of Hungarian Architects (MÉSZ) is that the architect László Mikó, the head of the MÉSZ’s Foreign Affairs Committee, was appointed to the presidency of the UIA, and the architect Tibor Fátyol became his general deputy, so that the 2nd region is once again represented by Hungarians in the top organization of architects.
