The International Architectural Congress held by the Association of Hungarian Architects, traditionally organized by the publisher Artifex, was held this year in the recently handed over Eiffel Hall. So many came to the first large-scale national event after the epidemic that the opera rehearsal room where it took place was crowded. After the greeting of Pál Csanády, head of Artifex Publishing, András Krizsán, the president of the Association of Hungarian Architects, spoke about the results of the association last year, as well as interpreted the greetings of the presidents of the UIA region. Szilveszter Ókovács, the director of the Opera House, welcomed the participants of the congress in a video message. The opening speech was given by Krisztina Deák on behalf of the Deputy State Secretariat for Architecture, Construction and Heritage Protection of the Prime Minister’s Office. The curator of this year’s congress, Péter Magyar, guided the audience into his research in spatial theory. The lectures in the morning represented a theoretical direction while in the afternoon the realized projects played a major role.
