Drying House, Debrecen

The design of the former Tyre House, in the inner part of the city, started in 2014 with the help of architecture students from the University of Debrecen. In 2024, the new Drying House has been transformed into a new community workshop place. From the results of the student competition, Balázs Falvai and Dávid Török, architects from the dmb studio, made architectural designs together with their colleagues studied at the University of Debrecen. The result is the contemporary crafts aesthetics, with the students-designers’ own handiwork to create a on university education.
