Architecture for Healing 2013
EuHPN 2013 Workshop: Budapest 7-9 October
Reinventing the Hospital: Europe’s Challenge
The European Health Property Network has been bringing together health policy makers, health system planners, health estates professionals, capital investment experts, healthcare architects and academics for the past 13 years. This year we are returning to Budapest, the city that last hosted our annual workshop in 2006, to discuss and debate the best ways to confront and solve the challenges that face healthcare infrastructure across Europe. We will be addressing a number of themes at this year’s event:
The scale and scope of hospitals: using evidence and tools to create a sustainable future
Designing for high risk environments
Front-end planning and post-project evaluation
Sustainable hospitals: changing procurement practices; creating energy systems for the future
Integrating hospitals services with other areas of health and social care
The workshop will take place at the Danubius Spa conference centre and hotel, in central Budapest. The workshop programme is now available and can be downloaded here. To register, please complete the registration form here, and follow the instructions.
According to the EuHPN 2013 Workshop, an exhibition Architecture for Healing 2013 – Reinventing the Hospital will take place at the foyer of the Danubius Spa conference centre and hotel.
