As usual, the highlight of the series of events associated with the Month of Landscape Architecture was the ceremony of the Landscape Architecture Awards ceremony taking place in FUGA on April 26th, 2016. The jury of professionals chose Geum Landscape Architects’ Office (Csenge Csontos†, Borbála Gyüre and Gergely Lád) as the best candidate in this field this year. Works by GEUM have been recognized and praised for their reserved characteristics, minimalist style and lack of being pushy or overambitious in any way. The majority of votes from the public submitted on professional portals went to Sára Dobos who has excelled with projects such as the reconstruction of the parkland of the Károlyi mansion in Füzérradvány and the hanging gardens of Lillafüred.
