On the occasion of the 20th of August, the celebration of the founding of the Hungarian state, several leading architects were awarded high state honours. Architects Sándor DLA Dévényi, Dr. Bálint Bachmann, Tamás Perényi DLA and Attila Sztankov were awarded the Hungarian Order of Merit.
