On May 12, 2023, the Miklós Ybl Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Óbuda organised its first comprehensive professional conference for architects, titled 1st Ybl Conference on the Built Environment, with the motto “The Potential of Challenge, Value in Change”. Idea of the conference was conceived and the event was organized by Dr. Viktória Sugár, Director of the Institute of Architecture, and Dr. Zsuzsanna Fáczányi, Associate Dean for Research, with the support of numerous faculty members and their professional contacts to promote the event as widely as possible. This year, the 210th anniversary of the birth of Miklós Ybl gave the event titled 2nd Ybl Conference on the Built Environment the slogan „Ybl210: Building Bridges, Crafting Communities: Together
in Architecture”. In the current issue of Utóirat (Postscriptum), we have selected some of the lectures given at the event.
