The Cleansing of the Church
The Formal Changes of Churches and the Interpretation of their Renovations based on the Bible
The archetypal form of the Christian church is that of the upper room of the house in Jerusalem in which Jesus sacrificed the paschal lamb before the Jewish Easter festival and consumed it on the last supper. The repetition of the last supper, or thanksgiving (Eucharist) is the climax of the Christian cult. It actually means the consumption of the body and blood of Jesus Christ both in the community of the apprentices and the congregation. This form of togetherness and belongingness meant a radical reinterpretation of the former cults, as well as the churches and the administrative units of the religious communities.
