The Budapest-based FUGA Architectural Centre organizes a wide variety of events associated with architecture and culture on the 10th anniversary of its existence, one of them being a programme of a pioneering genre: an auction of architectural drawings. Apropos of this occasion, we asked Sergey Tschoban architect, who founded the Berlin-based Museum of Architectural Drawings in 2013, about what kind of roles, positions, professional recognition of the traditional hand-made architectural drawings actually have nowadays, in the era of digital design.
