The „Symbio” Project

The aim of the project presented in this paper was to develop a solution that makes use of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to create a sustainable city, with a focus on promoting a greener and more sustainable future for the municipality of Budapest. The team, which is composed of members with backgrounds in economics, architecture and computer science, started to work on the concept with the help of a mentor. The participants received intensive training during the “MOME AI Days” and the project was finalised in a 24-hour Hackathon. Several vacant shop/office facilities in Budapest were in the focus of the research.
