On 23 September, this year’s Pál Csonka Medal was awarded at a ceremony in the Hungarian House of Music to Sou Fujimoto, the Japanese designer of the building who has already won several awards in the Hungarian and international architectural scene, as well as his two Hungarian colleagues, Bence Varga and Balázs Puskás. At the event, the management of the Hungarian House of Music and fellow architects praised the achievements of the designers, followed by a presentation by Sou Fujimoto, who gave a detailed presentation on the process of designing this unique building.
