    Results of the Design Contest

    The agrarian-innovation centre based in Martonvásár (the new research block of the Hungarian Academy of Science) is meant to facilitate and advance certain developments agrarian tourism. As the first step to realize this project, the Hungarian Academy of Science published an open and secret design contest to outline the research block in Martonvásár on April 21st, 2017. The projected building is meant to contain research facilities for several departments of the constitution. The MTA ATK is targeted to be constructed by 2019 as a central research building with equipment meeting the requirements of the 21st century. The stages of this development are fenotypic, image-creating, metabolomic, proteomic, genomical and bioinformatic platforms, laboratories, research rooms. A total of 12 tenders were submitted by the deadline which are valid and meet all the requirements of the tender.
