REA16 at the Faculty of Architecture, Budapest Technical University, April 16-21., 2012.

In 1990, just when the frontiers between the east and the west were opened, the headmaster of an architects’ school in Montpellier initiated the foundation of a network among French, Central and Eastern European institutions. They were interested in us, and we were inteested in them – this is how Réseaux des Écoles d’Architecture (REA) was borrn. The Budapest Technical University was one of the founders, and also the first the Central European schools to host the meeting of the network organized by György Radványi in 1994. In 2012 the REA had a workshop and an international conference in Budapest once again.
