Hello Wood Camp, 2015

In 2010 a company specialized in timber trading and some young architects-designers who shared the same way of thinking met up to launch Hello Wood. As of today, only five years from then, there is a team here well-known all over the world and invited to both national and international festivals, the members of which organize camps with the presence of formative characters of contemporary architecture and the participation of students from numerous countries of the world. This year the creative teams of Hello Wood Camp which has been awarded the Architizer+Award share the same concept: they are building a whole village together. Approximately 200 participants coming from 30 countries have blended their own personal experience to construct a joint settlement, which comes to reflect what village means for each nation concerned and how they imagine its life, system of nexus and institutions. Meanwhile, 1:1 scale models of fourteen buildings and installations were also made during the on-eweek camp.
