He made his first stage designs for the performances of the late Small theater of Pécs. He also designed sets regularly for the theaters in several Hungarian cities like Kecskemét, Szeged, Nyíregyháza. His better known works are made for theaters in Budapest like Katona József Theater, Örkény Theater and Radnóti Theater.
According to the exhibition ‘Furniture Design in Hungary 1800–1850’ in the Budapest History Museum, a brand new and valuable catalogue of the furniture design in Hungary between 1800 and 1850 had been published. György Vedres Award honours Hungarian architects under 40 with significant public buildings completed before 31. 12. 2011. The award is named after György Vedres, Ybl Award winner architect. In 2013 the Vedres György Prize goes to: Tamás László architect for his collaboration in the design of the Piarist Professional School in Göd.

Harpa forms part of an extensive plan to expand and revitalize the eastern harbour of Reykjavik, as well as to improve the connection between this part of the harbour and the city centre. The building consists of both concert and conference facilities, including four main halls.
