Non-standard architecture is bespoke architecture. The building of today is designed with digital tools and is produced by means of digitally controlled production methods. This leads to a revolution in the conception of the nature and realization of the design. Moreover, it prompts a whole new debate about what is beautiful in architecture.

Mate Baylon (1903-1995) a délszláv térség legszínesebb és legsokoldalúbb életművű építésze volt, akinek munkássága átívelt az expresszionizmustól a „poszt-posztmodernig”, az épülettervezéstől, urbanisztikától az építészettudományi kutatásig. A spanyol hajós ivadék, dalmát Baylon a Bécsi Műegyetemet végezte. 1927-ben már Clemens Holzmeister asszisztense volt.
